The Kar-Jenner clan are gearing up for their fifteenth season run of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and conversations surrounding what’s expected included a little psychic intuition from Kim Kardashian about her sister Kylie Jenner.
While speaking on a Business of Fashion West panel with her momager Kris Jenner, the two were asked about how long the show will run. Kris mentioned the show lasting forever as a joke and that North West, Kim’s oldest daughter, will be getting married in a future season. This then turned to a more serious moment when Kim said her mom, “used to say that about Kylie” back when the model and new mother was only 10 years old. “We used to say, ‘Season 17, Kylie has a baby,'” Kim added. “And we all looked at each other and [were] like, ‘Oh shit! That just happened.'” OMG! It’s so close to season 17 that it’s actually scary.
Though the reality that Kylie *does* have a kid came a little earlier than season 17, Kim was right, and it will be interesting to see how long the reality show *actually* goes on. Even if the show ends tomorrow, Kim mentioned that the family will always stick together, especially because they are so closely watched by the media. “I think that the way my family and I have always dealt with everything is we know we have each other. Nothing else really matters,” Kim said. “So at the end of the day, this could all go away and we all have each other and we’re confident in that. So, we’re always going to be who we are. And if one of us is fighting with, you know, a boyfriend or an ex, or whatever the examples you were giving, I mean, we all know what it is. Like, we all know we support each other and we love each other. And a part of all of that craziness has given us the platform to have our brands.” How sweet.
As for what’s in store on KUWTK this upcoming season, Kris mentioned some “blowout” fights between the sisters, but are we totally surprised? “When I think about it, I do get really mad,” Kim added. “It’s basically just like people being disrespectful. It’s the one thing that really gets me.” She continued to say something about Kourtney’s behavior, so I can only imagine these two will be the ones to freak out on each other.
The new season airs on E! this summer and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Kar-Jenners.
