With the Season 2 premiere of This Is Us came lots of tears (as per usual), but it also proved one of the show’s characters is psychic?! Wait until you hear this.
Kevin Pearson (played by Justin Hartley) predicted the recent Kardashian-Jenner baby boom. In case you’re behind, according to rumors that seem pretty legit, Kylie Jenner is pregnant with rapper Travis Scott, Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with NBA player Tristan Thompson, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting baby No. 3 via surrogate. The influx of pregnancies in this family is mind-blowing, but something Kevin said in Tuesday night’s episode of This Is Us is even crazier.
Sophie—Kevin’s ex-wife turned girlfriend—expressed her sadness for missing his birthday in L.A., mostly because she wanted to see the Kardashians. In response, Kevin said, “The Kardashians aren’t going anywhere, I promise. They’re like gremlins. By next week there will be like a bazillion more of ‘em.” Whoa. Isn’t that convenient?
If the episode was filmed just this week, this exchange wouldn’t be so surprising, but the premiere was filmed months ago—way before all this KarJenner baby news dropped. So, is Kevin psychic? Or is this just a coincidence? Probably the latter, but regardless, it is pretty wild.
