Josh Murray Is Turning to Steve Harvey for Dating Advice

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Former Bachelorette winner Josh Murray is apparently willing to try anything to salvage his love life, including turning to none other than Steve Harvey for advice. (I’m just as confused as you are.)

Josh has been put on blast for the way he acts in relationships, and it’s ruining his chances to find love. Both of his Bachelor franchise exes, Andi Dorfman and Amanda Stanton, have said Murray is controlling and verbally abusive in relationships. No wonder he’s struggling to find Mrs. Right.

Not to fear, Steve Harvey is here to help. On Tuesday’s episode of The Steve Harvey Show, Josh claimed he hasn’t done anything wrong. “That’s what’s tough to hear all the time,” Murray told Harvey. “In this relationship I definitely take fault for continuing something and not being happy when I know I should walk away. And I feel like people can relate in any situation—you’re in something that you don’t want to be in, it ends up just not being very good…but I don’t like airing my dirty laundry and I don’t like talking bad about other people and ruining their lives. But unfortunately, that’s happened with mine and it’s very frustrating.”

Murray went on to say that he feels “hopeless” and that people are “already judging me based on what others are saying.”

That’s where Steve comes in. After all, he knows what it’s like to be at the center of internet backlash. (Hello, Miss Universe.) “I’m going to help you out, because I’ve been on that end of it man, I’ve been ate up on the internet before,” Harvey said.

His plan? Best I can tell, Steve is going to film Josh on a date and observe his techniques. Of course, if the woman Josh goes on a date with already knows about his past relationships, this might be over before it even begins.

Abbey is a senior at the University of Wyoming and is currently majoring in Journalism. She couldn't imagine a world without Jesus, coffee, The 1975, Twitter or her family. You'll usually find her at a concert or cafe somewhere, which is where she spends majority of her free-time. Talking to band members after their shows is a hobby, along with thrifting & indulging in all aspects of pop culture. After college, she plans to spend more time at concerts, getting paid to write about music and bands.
