Jimmy Kimmel Asks Kids to Review President Trump’s First Year in Office

If you’ve ever spoken to a child, you know that they can brutally honest. As they’re unaware of certain social graces, it’s easy for them to lack a filter entirely — even when talking about the President of the United States.

Jimmy Kimmel, known for his various sketches involving children (like parents pretending they ate all of their Halloween candy), has struck gold yet again. He sent a camera crew out on the streets to poll kids on their feelings toward President Donald Trump’s first year in office.

One girl discussed foreign affairs by saying, “He wants to put a wall over Mexico and I like, love going to Mexico.”

Another kid said the first thing that comes to mind when someone says “Donald Trump” is “small fingers and orange face.” So, it would seem that his accomplishments aren’t at the forefront of the youths’ minds.

Of his Twitter ranting, one kid said, “I think he needs to stop threatening North Korea,” because he doesn’t want to “get nuked.” Fair enough.

The president’s ethics and intelligence were not off the table as one Frozen clad gal admitted that Trump, “treats people badly and that’s why I don’t think he’s smart.”

At the end of the day, it would seem that Trump is not only sinking in the approval ratings for the adult population, but he’s certainly not winning with children, either.
