Jay Z’s Response to ‘Lemonade’ is Not What We Were Hoping For

Queen Bey’s latest album Lemonade left us with many unanswered questions, but there is one question we have been waiting very impatiently to have answered. Is Jay Z ever going to respond to his wife’s new music, which seems to put him on blast for cheating?

Us Weekly previously reported that the rapper was going to release his own album in response to Lemonade, but it seems like for now, he’s sticking with a verse.

For the remixed version of his comeback hit, “All The Way Up,” Fat Joe called upon some fellow artists, including Jay Z, to update the track.

In the song, Jay manages to reference Beyoncé’s drink of choice and his marriage with the lines, “You know you made it when the fact / Your marriage made it is worth millions / Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is.”

Wait…what? We suppose his words are open to interpretation, but we’ve never been more confused.

What do you think the message behind Jay Z’s verse is?
