So, apparently, Tyrese has some dating advice for women. While promoting The Fate of the Furious, the actor got himself in hot water with insanely sexist comments that will definitely make you cringe.
In a video for BET, Tyrese straight up slut-shames women that he deems “sluts, skeezes, hoes, tramps and overly aggressive promiscuous women.” It. Gets. Worse.
Though he claims he “appreciate[s] all the ladies out there that are still single and holding out,” he says some women (the so-called “sluts”) are “ready to have sex with any and everything that want to have sex with them.”
Tyrese respects single women because they are “actually holding out because [they] have [their] value.” But women who have sex? They definitely don’t have his stamp of approval. “You have women that are out here active in these streets, they going to lunches and dinners every night…It comes at a cost, you gonna put a lot of miles on yourself down there.” WOW.
There’s been backlash on Twitter, obviously, with many calling Tyrese out for holding women to a different standard than men and questioning a woman’s right to have sex.

These types of statements are becoming common for Tyrese. Remember when he told Amber Rose her “energy” is the reason why she’s sexually assaulted by fans? Ugh.
Given that Tyrese is known for sharing thoughts like this about women (even though no one asked for his opinion), we’re not entirely surprised by this latest stunt. Just disappointed, as usual.
