Hayley Kiyoko Says She Dreams Of Being The Next ‘Bachelorette’—With 26 Women To Choose From

Boss babe Hayley Kiyoko is a huge fan of The Bachelor, and she’s advocating for an all-female version of The Bachelorette.

In a “Rant & Rave” interview segment with Fuse, Kiyoko says, “My dream is to be The Bachelorette and to have 26 women to choose from.” Now, the odds of that happening are slim to none as of right now because like Kiyoko argues, the show is catered towards “middle America,” and middle America apparently only wants to see heterosexual couples.

Boring!

The interview continues with Kiyoko bringing up more serious topics like equal pay, where she says, “I am definitely fighting for that, as should everyone else.” Whether you’re a woman or a minority (or both!), we should all get paid as equally as the next straight, white male. It’s what we deserve.

The playful video also really brings out Kiyoko’s personal side, which fans don’t always get to see through Instagram posts. When topics such as astrology came up, Kiyoko fed into it! She’s an Aries, which means she’s gotta be lit. Watching her talk about her love for astrology made me fall even more in love with her! “If a girl asks me what my sign is, they’re obviously flirting with me, so…,” she says.

So… should I ask her what her sign is? Hayley, if you’re reading this, I’m a Pisces.

And with festival season in full effect, Kiyoko also expressed her excitement to perform at Coachella this year! She’s grown up with the festival, attending nearly every year, so this must be a dream come true for her.

Watching this interview with Hayley makes it almost impossible not to fall for her flirty personality and overall self. She’s talented, gorgeous, a feminist, and an LGBTQ stan. This makes her anyone’s dream girl.

I'm a Culture and Media student in New York City. I moved all the way from Southern California to pursue my dreams of writing style and entertainment pieces and becoming more and more myself. Some may consider me a film junkie, astrology queen, and an extreme vegan. But to me, I'm just a writer babe in the big city.
