A Gossip Girl Reunion Actually *Could* Happen

With the Gilmore Girls revival happening soon and Fuller House becoming a hit, it’s fairly reasonable to assume that every director or producer who worked on a TV show a couple of years ago is thinking about doing a reboot. So what we really want to know is this: What are the producers behind Gossip Girl thinking?

As much as we would all love to see how Chuck and Blair are doing, executive directors Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage really haven’t even thought about that idea. According to E! Online, the producers admitted, “We haven’t really explored some of those conversations.” Ugh.

But there is a silver lining: it’s not totally off the table. Schwartz also said that “the internet has changed” and with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and other social media networks, it would be such an interesting show to do in modern times. Plus, the two even added it’d be an easy show to revive. Imagine the possibilities!

There’s also the fact that several former castmates are totally on board to come back to the show. Sebastian Stan, better known as Carter Baizen, has said “I would do it, why not?” He also added, “I got Jessica Szohr and Chace Crawford. I don’t know what the rest are up to, but I’d be down. Why not?”

So basically, let’s all cross our fingers that things come through because tbh, you know you’d love it. Xoxo, Gossip Girl.
