According to Us Weekly, former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis has married model girlfriend Osmariel Villalobos in a secret, intimate ceremony in Miami, Fla.
In 2014, Galavis became the first Latino to star on The Bachelor after appearing on The Bachelorette the previous year. He didn’t find lasting love on the show—although he gave his final rose to Nikki Ferrell (sans proposal), the pair split seven months after the show ended.
Luckily for the Venezuelan ex-soccer star, the tables have turned. His new wife, who is also Venezuelan, gushed about the love of her life on Instagram. She wrote in Spanish, “THANKS to so many people who worked with me in SECRET to make this dream come true.” Several close friends confirm that the two are madly in love and that Villalobos shares a special bond with Galavis’ eight-year-old daughter, Camila.
Although the Miami ceremony came as a surprise to many, Juan Pablo and his bride will host a second celebration in Venezuela to include more of their loved ones.
It would’ve been nice to see Juan Pablo find love on national TV, but, alas, they can’t all be Evan and Carly.
