The newest installment in The Divergent Series may not be hitting theaters until March 18th of next year, but it’s never too soon to get amped up. That’s exactly what we’ve been doing ever since the first trailer for the film was released earlier today.
The teaser opens up with clips from the previous Divergent and Insurgent movies. There are also plenty of fresh tidbits to enjoy, though. In addition to snagging a peek at Tris’s slightly longer ‘do, you can see what appears to be a scene strangely reminiscent of a faction reunion, with Four, Christina, Peter, Caleb, and Tori teaming up with the leading lady to scale the mythical wall and discover what lies on the other side—looks like a whole lot of red stuff, in our professional opinion.
And while the author of Allegiant, Veronica Roth, recently voiced mild concerns for changes the studio is making to the final act of her beloved series, we can count on one major thing to stay the same. In true Tris fashion, before the trailer comes to an entirely-too-soon close, she gets yet another opportunity to save the world. It’s all in a day’s work for this B.A. heroine.
