Emma Watson & Bonnie Wright Had the Sweetest ‘Harry Potter’ Reunion

Who doesn’t love when the casts of their favorite childhood flicks reunite out of the blue? Harry Potter cast reunions happen to be my weakness, and this year has already brought us a Weasley sibling hangout and a Hogwarts class reunion that were both amazing. Another epic reunion happened this week when everyone’s favorite witch Emma Watson was seen hanging with Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, at the Tribeca Film Festival. Um, YES.

Refinery29 reports the two came together at the festival’s red carpet premiere of Watson’s latest film The Circle. Wright was there to support her new series, Phone Calls, and has actually written and directed several short films since the Potter films wrapped in 2011. The Harry Potter ties have definitely stayed strong in her life—David Thewlis, otherwise known as Remus Lupin, appeared in her graduate film Separate We Come, Separate We Go.

We don’t know if Wright has stayed close enough with Watson to do a project together someday, but this picture of them talking to each other on the red carpet is too sweet.

According to E! Online, the stars were only able to chat for a brief moment before separating, but Harry Potter nerds know that just seeing these childhood figures reconnect is more than satisfying.
