We still have yet to ring in 2017, but the new year is already looking up as far as we’re concerned: a new trailer for the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast has just been released and it’s even more amazing as we could have imagined.
While the upcoming film’s first trailer was first shared with us back in November by none other than Belle herself (a.k.a. Emma Watson), the new trailer is longer and basically confirms exactly what we were hoping for: our favorite cartoon classic coming to life. There are several glimpses of Belle (in her *iconic* gold dress, of course) and the Beast, played by Dan Stevens. For the first time, Ms. Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth make an appearance too – and there’s even a brief flash of the villanous Gaston.
Watch the trailer below and get ready to freak out over your childhood basically becoming real life right before your eyes on March 17th when the movie hits theaters.
