We all know the inside of a bag of chips is usually half chips, half air, and that’s one of the most annoying things ever. Apparently someone found a solution to the problem: Doritos’ latest promotion is part chips, part… cassette tape? The Doritos bag features a built-in cassette player that plays the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack, Refinery29 reports.
Purchasing the bag of Doritos gives buyers access to the film’s entire tracklist, which was released by Marvel last week. It sounds insane, but listeners can plug their headphones into the vintage cassette deck within the bag. Not only that, but the high-tech addition allows for charging, so fans can repeat the Parliament, Cheap Trick and Fleetwood Mac songs (just to name a few) as many times as they want. Doritos has basically turned their bag of chips into an iPod. And it’s marketing gold.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters May 5, but eager fans can purchase these limited-edition chips from Amazon starting April 28 to hold them over.
