Chuck Bass as an Evil Kidnapper Still Has Us Swooning

Looks like Ed Westwick Chuck Bass is once again up to his sneaky and villainous ways—and we still can’t help but swoon over him! A trailer for the movie Take Down was just released, and it features everyone’s favorite Gossip Girl bad boy.

The thriller involves several rebellious rich kids, who are sent to a boot camp on a remote island. While there, they are taught key survival skills, with the hope that they will learn to take responsibility for their actions, while learning skills that will help them survive in the real world. Sounds like a decent plan, right? Well, things go awry when a group of ruthless kidnappers—including Westwick (who plays Billy Speck)—intervene, taking said wealthy kids and holding them hostage until the ransom is paid.

Based on the trailer, this movie looks intense (to say the least). And we also can’t help but wonder what would happen if the Upper East Side’s Blair, Serena, Chuck, and Nate somehow ended up in this situation. The role also seems to suit Westwick well, considering he’s perfected his evil tendencies from his Gossip Girl days. And let’s face it, he’s insanely good at playing the bad guy.
