We’re hoping she won’t need it, but it appears Gigi Hadid’s taste in breakup songs is as sophisticated as we would expect.
Turns out, Gigi’s breakup staple is James Bay’s gorgeous ballad “Let it Go,” which she revealed during her time hosting the MuchMusic Video Awards Sunday night.
Gigi revealed this tidbit as she introduced the singer. She then asked her co-presenter Robbie Amell whether he would be the heartbreaker or the heartbroken, to which he gallantly replied that he tries not to break hearts. In contrast to Gigi, Robbie’s breakup playlist has a little more energy, with his top track as Jay-Z’s “99 Problems.”
No one likes to have to break out the breakup playlist, but at least Gigi makes it a good one! Sometimes a girl’s gotta let those feels out and just let it go.
