Ashley Iaconetti & Jared Haibon Dished On Getting Engaged & It Is Disgustingly Cute

ICYMI, Bachelor alums Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti got engaged over the weekend and we’ve all been freaking out ever since. The story of their love can be found here, but it only gets cuter. Earlier this month, the newly engaged duo actually discussed getting engaged while talking to Entertainment Tonight.

In the brief interview, Ashley and Jared shared the most romantic things they’ve done for one another, and Ashley was quick to mention how sweet Jared’s handwritten letters to her have been. When Jared shared his ideal date, he mentioned watching Superman, ordering Chinese food and drinking red wine, which Ashley actually set up a week after he mentioned it to her. “I knew that I needed to marry this woman,” Jared said, while discussing how much this meant to him. Awww! “So you’re going to marry this woman?” ET asked, and without hesitation, Jared responded, “Yes, at some point.” OMG!

Ashley went on to joke that she’s searching for a bite from the love bug on him but hasn’t had any luck yet. Though we know Jared kept his word on sealing the deal, the talk of marriage didn’t stop there. Ashley was then asked if she knew what she wanted her wedding dress to look like and she had quite the story. “You know what’s funny is he will watch Say Yes To The Dress with me. It’s actually crazy,” she said, in which Jared interrupted, “Not by choice!” When they watch, Ashley says, “I ask [Jared] like, ‘do you like that? Do you like the princess gown? A mermaid dress? A fit and flair? We definitely know that we don’t like fit and flair.” LOL.

The interviewer seemed impressed, saying the two have definitely thought about it in which Ashley simply said, “yes.” I love the certainty they have about each other. I seriously can’t get over how in love they seem and I am excited to see which dress she *actually* goes for. At least we know Jared has a bit of a say in the matter due to his experience watching SYTTD.

Even more recently, Jared shared a hilarious photo of Ashley on Twitter with the caption “She’s Ashley I. in this picture. But to me she’s the future Ashley H.” Are you kidding me?! It’s all too cute to handle.
