Compiled from interviews with the cast and crew, fun facts, film stats, and other fun details, this book is the perfect read for any fan of Clueless. Although many of the movie’s fans adore Cher’s iconic outfit choices, Alicia Silverstone admits to having a different attitude. In fact, Silverstone confesses that she got rid of her costumes. We know what you’re probably thinking right now:
How could she possibly abandon the iconic wardrobe and character that kickstarted her Hollywood career?!? It seems a bit harsh, if you ask us. While Alicia initially kept her stylish ensembles once film production wrapped, she ultimately decided to part ways with her cute sweaters and preppy skirts. “I didn’t do a very good job at saving any of them. I was stupid about that whole thing. I think I gave them all away,” Alicia admits in Chaney’s Clueless tell-all.
