Adele Teaches Us All a Lesson in Self Love

Adele will be featured in the March issue of Vogue, and her interview simply couldn’t have gone better.

Adele offered some wonderful insights into her development through the years, specifically regarding her image. While she highlights many things she doesn’t like about her body—her “bum chin,” “potato fingers” and “intense” forehead among them—she admits that she still loves herself. “I was just shocked that all of a sudden I was 25! But actually I like myself more than ever. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with.”

As Adele so beautifully put it, you don’t have to love every inch of your body—and likely won’t—in order to love yourself. She has come to a place in her life where she is able to accept that. And instead of ignoring her flaws, she accepts her quirks as just another part of who she is.

You tell ’em Adele.
