Reports by The Sun lead us to believe that Beyoncé is holding off on releasing her new album—which she completed late last year—to allow Adele to reap the success of 25 just a little bit longer. Sources explain the move as a sort of “code of honor to Adele.” Apparently, B is waiting until the hype surrounding Adele wanes.
Although many Beyoncé fans are probably disappointed by this news, there may be a silver lining. In case you need any more reason to get pumped for Bey’s highly-anticipated Super Bowl 50 halftime show, there’s speculation her album announcement could come that very evening. We can dream, right?
