22 Life Lessons We’ve Learned from Ariana Grande

From playing quirky Cat Valentine to becoming a sassy, international pop star, we couldn’t love Ariana any harder if we tried! Besides making it acceptable to wear cat ears all year long and having the most famous ponytail in history, Ariana has actually taught us some pretty important lessons over the years. In honor of her 22nd birthday, here are 22 things that we have learned from the Boca babe.

1. You are never too old to rock kitten ears.

2. We learned how to be proud feminists.

3. She taught us how to move on when we deserve better.

4. You can’t please everyone.

5. It’s alright to admit it when you have absolutely no clue what’s going on.

6. Everyone is a little weird.

7. Always keep your head up.

8. It’s okay for you to wear your hair in a ponytail every day of your life if that’s how you like it.

9. Don’t be afraid to tell people how you really feel.

10. When it doubt, hug it out.

11. She taught us to always be ourselves.

12. Disney World will never not be the most magical place on Earth.

13. Laughter is contagious, so do it more often.

14. Don’t take yourself too seriously…

15. But it’s okay to embrace you’re inner diva too.

16. She reminded us that boys don’t always understand us.

17. Everyone gets nervous at times, and that’s alright.

18. Your sexuality doesn’t define your character.

19. Always dance like no one is watching.

20. Lighten up and remember to have fun.

21. A smile can brighten someone’s day, so always smile back.

22. And if you perform at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show, beware of angel wings.

Happy Birthday, Ariana!

She realizes that her last name is Trusty and does that make her trusty? Yes, yes it does. She cares way more about the goings on of Kylie Jenner, One Direction, and the rest of the celebrity population way more than the average person should. So as opposed to becoming a professional paparazzo, she does this while she studies Broadcast Journalism at the University of South Carolina. You can find her on Instagram @briballerina or @verytrustysource.
