One thing I've learned is that relationships can be rough – even the best ones. Then, there’s the break up.
As most of you already know, this is my fourth and final year at WMU. I have a lot of mixed emotions, ideas, and concerns, but one state of mind trumps all of them --- senioritis. It’s real and its part of me right now.
There are plenty of different drivers out on the road, especially in Kalamazoo, and I’ve been in the car with a lot of different types of drivers.
I know some slow drivers, some road rage drivers and for the most part, distracted drivers. I’ve seen my friends honk, flip people off, yell, talk on their phones, pass their exits, and I’ve seen everyone, including my dad, text while driving.
I looked at three different schools before making the decision to come to WMU. I went to all of the colleges and went on tours, but liked Western Michigan the best, which seemed unfortunate because none of my friends were going to be there with me. I sucked it up and arrived anyways, hoping to have a good roommate.
It’s spring! But what’s spring without the break?
