You best be getting your Alice and Olivia for Payless shoes ready to burn rubber, because when the long awaited Rodarte for Target line is released on December 20th you can bet your butt you will not be walking!

Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sisters behind the acclaimed Rodarte line, have been the toast of the fashion world this year, winning the coveted Womenswear Designer of the Year Award at the 2009 CFDA awards. Now it seems that a Target line is but the next step in translating any up-and-coming designer brand (Proenza Schouler, Rogan, and Thakoon to name a few) from unattainable high-fashion to an accessible retail venture.

The line is ultra-feminine with a modern twist, a rich mix of patterns, textures and fabrics in everything from sequins and lace to leopard – very Rodarte! There are variety of dainty looking tops, skirts and dresses covered in tulle and adorned with bows, and the sheer cardigans are perfect for layering. Pieces from the collection will range from $12.99 for a pair of lace tights cinched with a bow (cute detail!), to $79.99 for a faux-fur Leopard coat (on my wish list!).

And just to make this a bit sweeter, when Sunday rolls around fashion indecisiveness won’t even rear it’s ugly head because HC readers have a chance to check out the Look Book with prices! The 55-piece Rodarte line will launch December 20th at Target stores nationwide and on target.com. Don't miss this chance to get your own Rodarte, the line is only available through January 31st!

Rodarte for Target Sequin Rib Cage Dress, $49.99, Striped Tee, $16.99, Lace Tights, $12.99, Target, target.com.
