Anna Dello Russo, Bestill My Heart!

In order to escape the humdrum of mid-terms, this past week was spent wasting countless hours in front of a computer screen, surfing some of my favorite sites. Lucky for me, and not so lucky for my GPA, it was Fashion Week in New York. While the discoveries I made were motivated by pure procrastination, in the end the payoff was quite rewarding.

On more than one occasion, the fabulous and ferocious Anna Dello Russo popped up on my screen causing me to lift my hand off the mouse and pause to have a look at this female's truly fierce style. The Italian Editor of Vogue Nippon is one of the brave few who dares to take looks right off the runway and wear them proudly on her tiny frame. "You see the runway look—they look fantastic! Why change? I like to take the dream and put it on me."
