Remember when we featured publicity guru Jessica Kleiman in our How She Got There section? As Vice President of Public Relations for Hearst Magazines, Jessica oversees all publicity efforts for titles like Harper’s Bazaar, Seventeen, and Esquire. Amazing, right? I was so impressed with her submission that I read her book “Be Your Own Best Publicist,” co-authored by fellow PR superstar Meryl Weinsaft Cooper, while on vacation in Las Vegas last month. With tips that apply to students in virtually any field of study, this reading comes highly recommended.
