Bing has teamed up with one of our favorite celebrities Kelly Osbourne to celebrate the first-ever Bing Magical Holiday Calendar, and she’s sharing her tips on how to make your own cool and creative gifts for everyone this year from your roommates to your mom. “My favorite thing about Christmas is giving gifts,” Kelly says, who prefers to be on the giving end of holiday gift-swapping. “I love finding little things that I know people will really like.”
Kelly always gives gifts with a personal touch. She loves giving friends and family personalized letters or drawings that are made from the heart. One year, she made a touching video with a special song that even moved her mom, Sharon Osbourne to tears. Kelly also says thathomemade holiday cards can double as personalized, festive décor. The Osbourne family loves going through their stack of cards together and choosing their favorites to display throughout the house.
“As the world is right now – in a recession – people don’t have that extra money to be frivolous and go out and buy tons of gifts for people,” Kelly says. “That’s why I think websites like Bing are amazing because you can go on and look up how to make something that will mean something so much.”
