#TBT: 100 Years of Beauty in Just One Minute

From hairstyles to lipstick shades, standards of beauty have evolved and changed greatly over the years. Each decade has its own memorable signature, such as victory pin-up curls from the ’40s or big, teased hair in the ’80s. For those who want to learn more about each decade’s style since 1910 without researching for hours, check out this quick and awesome time-lapse video.

Model Nina Carduner sat in the stylist’s chair for this video and shows us just how much beauty has evolved over the course of one century in this fast-paced, glamorous video. Check out the lipstick from the ’20s and the Snooki-style pouf from the ’60s! Plus, the hair and makeup look from 2000 channels our Avril Lavigne stage flawlessly.

The last decade shown in the video is 2010, and we are totally guilty of taking duck-face selfies on our iPhones after a blow-out, too. Who knows what other beauty trends will follow suit over the next five years before we hit 2020?

What do you think of this video, and are there any beauty looks and eras you’d add?
