Spotted: Our Favorite Celeb Beauty Looks

Check out these fresh celebrity looks for fall fashion inspiration!

Alexa Chung was spotted rocking two of fall’s biggest trends: oxblood and leather.  She wore Versus to the cocktail reception of the new Versace store opening in SoHo.  Avery Newton, Class of 2013 at the College of William and Mary, says this is one of her favorites because “she’s wearing leather without looking like either a biker or a hooker. It adds subtle edge to a simple getup, which is cool.”

Newlywed Jessica Biel (who will be changing her name to Jessica Timberlake) had everyone talking at the 2012 ESPY Awards when she arrived in an entirely-white Christian Dior resort dress.  Certainly a preview of things to come, the actress married Justin Timberlake on October 19, 2012.  Her Campus Branch Manager Ivelisse Flores says she’s not a fan of this outfit, “just because I feel like she is too old for it.”

Halle Berry was spotted in a brilliant metallic Dolce & Gabbana dress at the Los Angeles premiere of Cloud Atlas, the epic adventure-drama in which she stars alongside Tom Hanks.  “The dress is impeccably tailored to her body and looks gorgeous juxtaposed with her skin tone,” says Avery Newton, “but let’s be real here…she has the perfect body so that’s probably 90% of why she looks so good here and always.”  Ivelisse adds that this outfit “really gives her a sultry/spunky kind of look, which I think is appropriate for her age.”

At ELLE’s 2012 Women in Hollywood Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, honoree Emma Watson appeared in Calvin Klein Collection to join in honoring those featured in ELLE Magazine’s nineteenth annual Women in Hollywood issue.  Ivelisse Flores says, “Emma Watson’s outfit is really pretty. I like the way that the top part looks like it is nude coloring.”  The contrast with the satiny black panelling creates an adorable look that is quintessentially Emma Watson.

At the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film, Seven Psychopaths, Abbie Cornish arrived in a plunging Roland Mouret fishtail dress.  Aly Kozacek, Class of 2014 at the College of WIlliam & Mary, says she loves this dress: “The floral lines make her figure look amazing without exposing much skin—so classy!”  Ivelisse Flores likes it, but she adds that “at the same time, I feel like she is about to have a wardrobe malfunction at any minute.”

A Chicago native, Elizabeth is going into her senior year at the College of William & Mary, where she is majoring in Psychology and Literary & Cultural Studies. Last year she circumnavigated the globe and visited 12 developing nations with a study abroad program called Semester at Sea, honing her travel writing skills and chasing her dream of someday working abroad. Currently she is the Editor-in-Chief of the literary magazine Winged Nation and the Philanthropy Chair of her beloved music sorority, Nu Kappa Epsilon. When she's not writing her butt off for class or for pleasure, she can usually be found practicing harp, watching Community, or hanging out with her Phi Sigma Pi brothers.
