People Are Actually Kinda Mad About the Too Faced & Kat Von D Palette

If you’re a true makeup fan, you know that two of our favorite brands, Too Faced and Kat Von D, just released a long-awaited collab in the form of a two-sided heart-shaped palette. When two awesome brands get together, we expect nothing less than fireworks, but it didn’t quite go that way this time around…

Only 8 more days until the most anticipated collab of the year launches! The #toofacedxkatvond Better Together Collection launches on December 26th! #toofacedxkatvond #toofaced @katvondbeauty @jerrodblandino

One Reddit thread in particular has been truly brutal. People expressed how they felt about the Too Faced and Kat Von D collab, and none of the comments were positive.

“I honestly think at this point Too Faced are winding us up,” says Reddit user sennasands. “Why would you include EXACTLY the same muted, neutral shades that are in ALL of your other palettes in this collab….WHY. I’m irrationally angry at this but seriously Too Faced, just stop it. Stop it now.”

silence1545 is just as upset, commenting, “‘This is unbelievably overpriced. It’s insulting, unimaginative, and trying way too hard to be ‘edgy.’”

b1ackth3sun also chimed in: “I wanted to love it so much, but I can’t. Too Faced offers the typical regurgitated colours, say no more. But I was also super disappointed by Kat, I mean you get black, white, and grey. Who doesn’t have those… several times over.”

That was way harsh, Tai.
