What is it about a fresh manicure that just gives a new sense of confidence? There’s nothing like walking out of the salon with hands that slay, or giving your nails a new lewk at home––after a ton of touch-ups and nail polish remover, of course. Since having the time/money to get killer nails isn’t always feasible, it’s nice when you have a talented little sister to do your manicure for you.
Unlike most of us college kids, this guy does have a talented little sister to do his nails. @sugarsiah recently tweeted photos of his sister practicing her nail technician talents on him, along with a caption summarizing how fierce he felt after. Holding up a jar of pickles to show off his new acrylics, he displayed his firetruck red nails and called himself “bad bitch,” something almost everyone has done (or wanted to) after a fresh mani.

This just goes to show how a little bit of pampering goes a long way. Whether it’s a full on spa day, a homemade face mask, getting your brows done or getting a mani/pedi, a treat yo-self day is necessary for an instant confidence boost. And honestly, there’s something about having long acrylics that makes grand hand gestures seem a little more necessary in everyday conversation.
