It’s time to say a temporary goodbye to your beloved matte liquid lipsticks for the summer. From the outside, the MAC Hint of Colour Lip Oils look just like your everyday gloss. However, once you’ve applied the incredibly hydrating formula, you are left with the high-shine glossy look of a class MAC lipgloss, but with a popsicle effect (and what screams “summer” louder than popsicles?).
MAC has recently released makeup collections that feature brighter lipstick shades and trendier colors, slowly shifting away from the older, more classic look. This collection is no exception, with eye-catching and loud shades of pink, red, purple and a very wild yellow.
Vogue Taiwan explained that the formula reacts with your body’s pH levels, which means that after application, it transforms into your perfect shade!
With the unique shades and fun, summer-y texture, these Lip Oils are sure to be an addition to any makeup bag. There’s only one teeny tiny catch: unfortunately these shades are currently only available in Asia, and there’s no word yet on when, or if, they’ll be coming over to North America. But who knows?
