When MAC Cosmetics first announced in July that they were creating a collection inspired by Latin music icon Selena Quintanilla, makeup and music enthusiasts alike were understandably excited. Fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on the limited edition makeup that they had been begging the makeup company to create for ages, and they didn’t fall through the day that the products went on sale. Within minutes, the collection sold out, making it one of 2016’s most sought after beauty collections.
To those of you who weren’t lucky enough to score something from the coveted MAC x Selena collection, fear not… because MAC has just promised to restock the entire collection! The makeup giant announced on Monday that the entire collection, with the exception of the Liquid Eye Liner in Boot Black, will be available in the United States and Canada very soon. Mark your calendars: on December 28th, the collection will restock on the brand’s own website, and in their stores on December 29.
Belk, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, Hudson Bay Company, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue will also all be restocking the collection, which only heightens your chances of snagging something from the exclusive line.
MAC also promises to improve their online shopping experience before the release date. They have put some regulations in place to increase the chances that everyone who wants a piece of the collection will get one. Customers will only be able to purchase a limited number of each product, in order to keep things fair. You will only be able to purchase three units of each product in-store, and two online.
