For years Demi Lovato has been a personal hero of mine. From speaking out about her eating disorder to being totally #real about fame, she is always telling the world about what life is really like as a celebrity. And it is not always fun and games.
One of the biggest things that Lovato has struggled with ever since being a child star, is body positivity. But, as she frequently mentions on her Instagram, she is a survivor and that means being okay with who you are now. And that is flawless.
Yesterday, she got extremely honest in a post about her non-thigh gap, writing, “I don’t have a thigh gap and I’m still beautiful the way I am.”
And once again, she hits the nail on the head. Amen, sister. Amen.
