Black Panther has officially topped $506 million in the U.S. alone, so it’s no surprise people are integrating elements of the film into their daily life. Every time we hear someone say #WakandaForever we get a little excited. The latest trend though to follow up the movie? Black Panther nails!
On Instagram we came across manicures with everything from Michael B. Jordan’s face to a traditional African print to Zuri’s purple color scheme. They are really such a dope way to show love to the film and its characters.
And Black Panther nail art isn’t the only way fans are honoring the popular flick, Teen Vogue reported that costume designer Ruth E. Carter says she’s “actually seeing people who are adorning this cultural aesthetic in a very beautiful and serious way” at screenings of the movie.
Although nails are but a small part of it, this is incredible and we are so happy to witness this movement of representation!
