The Best-Selling Drugstore Beauty Products

We’ve all been there—standing in the beauty aisle at the local drugstore trying to figure out what on earth we came to buy. Why? Honestly, the overwhelming number of choices can make it difficult.

While we’re definitely blessed with the variety in stores (CVS has over 136 choices for shampoos and conditioners—jaw drop!), how do we decide which ones to buy? One tried-and-true method is to look at the bestsellers, and CVS gave us the scoop on what has been flying of the shelves and into our bathrooms.

Essie in Ballet Slippers

Essie Nail Color Ballet Slippers, $8.50, cvs.com

Nail polish was the best-selling beauty product at CVS in 2014, and it’s no coincidence that everyone has an extra bottle (or two) of Essie’s Ballet Slippers polish. This timeless pale pink shade has a sheer finish that can be layered and is appropriate for every occasion from brunch to an interview.

TRESemme TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray

TRESemme TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray, $6.29, cvs.com

A staple in our arsenal is this TRESemme hairspray that has held up our hair through everything from formals to girls’ night out. It also beat out 61 other stylers at CVS, and we proudly crown it a champion among hairsprays.

Essence Of Beauty Bath Pouf

Essence Of Beauty Mesh Bath Sponge, $2.99, cvs.com

A bath pouf may seem underrated, but try to remember when you first left for college. What did you always have in your shower caddy? Yep, a trusty bath pouf for that shower gel that you spent half an hour picking out after smelling Every. Single. Scent.

Neutrogena Makeup Removing Towelettes

Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes, $7.99, cvs.com

We have a confession—we definitely have two sets of these wipes, one for the bathroom and one next to our bed. It’s a savior when we’re ready to pass out, but not before wiping off our makeup, of course!

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

OGX Renewing Argan Oil Of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner, $7.99 each, cvs.com

Chances are, you’ve seen these colorful bottles in store and in your friends’ bathrooms. OGX (Organix) has amazing products for that address all kinds of hair issues, and did we mention they make your hair smell out of this world?

Collegiettes, will you be looking out for these products on your next CVS run?
