Local College Student Stars in National Dove Ad

Florida International University senior, Adriana Suarez recently starred in a Dove deodorant advertisement that will be shown nationally in Glamour. The Dove campaign is well known for featuring “real women” in their ads, and how can we not love them for that?

Although she is a busy science and biology major, in her free time, Suarez loves to horseback ride and host dinner parties (complete with her awesome green tea cupcakes) to entertain her friends. She is a first generation American Columbian who is extremely proud of her heritage.

Suarez can’t wait to make her national debut among the pages of Glamour. The ad promotes the “go sleeveless” range of deodorants that are formulated with vitamins E and F. From juggling her busy college schedule to starring in a Dove campaign, Suarez is making huge moves!

Suarez heard that Dove was casting women to participate in their “Go Sleeveless” campaign, so she sent in a picture of herself along with a short video. Her video explained her love for entertaining friends and family with themed parties, and Dove was hooked!

When asked what the Dove campaign means to her, Suarez told latina.com, “I believe women who pursue their passions can experience a more balanced lifestyle and stronger feelings of confidence, so I hope this advertisement will inspire women to celebrate their individual passions as well.”
