7 Beauty Influencers Who Inspired Us In 2017, & Who to Watch Next Year

2017 has been an absolutely incredible year for beauty, from Rihanna launching her groundbreaking Fenty Beauty line, to K-Beauty becoming more and more accessible, this year has seen so much progress made towards inclusivity, diversity and the all-important #aesthetic. To celebrate those who have made it all possible, we’re rounding up some of our favorite beauty influencers from 2017.

One of the all-time top influencers, Huda has single-handedly conquered the beauty realm with her tutorials and killer cosmetic line

2. Christen Dominique 

Fans loved Christen’s ‘American Makeup vs. __ Makeup’ series this year, and word on the street is, she’s coming out with her own beauty line soon. 

3. Robyn Rihanna Fenty

Rihanna pretty much changed the game with the launch of her own Fenty Beauty line back in September. Releasing a foundation range with 40 inclusive shades, along with a whole line of bomb products, she raised the bar very high for all future beauty launches. 

4. Desi Perkins 

This mega-popular beauty guru provides her expertise on everything from how to build the perfect brow, to how to take care of super-curly hair.

Relatively new to the beauty community, Nyma started posting videos of her testing out the darkest shades of beauty products to show how important shade diversity is. Now, she’s blossomed into a full-blown beauty guru, offering her viewers everything from day-to-night tutorials to bubbly GRWMs. 

6. Park Hye Min

This South Korean makeup artist wowed the beauty sphere with her celebrity transformation videos and is now bringing K-Beauty to a global audience with her ever-expanding Pony Effect makeup and skincare line.

No list would be complete without Nikkie, better known as NikkieTutorials to her 9 million “glow babies.” Famous for her high-key glam looks, she’s taken YouTube by storm and released her own line of highlighters and liquid lipsticks with Ofra Cosmetics.

Lupe’s wildly creative and vibrant looks have set her apart in the beauty community as someone to watch out for in 2018. We’d love to see her release her own line of lippies one day! 

2. Valeria Lipovetsky

If you’re looking for minimalist inspiration, Val’s your gal. Not only is Valeria a model – she’s also well versed in holistic nutrition, and loves to share her knowledge with the world.
