Oh, how we all just love Ramen. It’s a college staple. Actually, let me rephrase: it’s a life staple. In a rush? Late night out got the tummy a’rumblin’? Not hungry, but still gonna eat anyway?
The microwave is a terrific accomplice of sorts. We mostly look at it as a re-heater, a defroster, or a popcorn popper. We turn to the oven and stove for most of our cooking, and if there are leftovers from that, then we’ll pop it into the microwave to be reheated.
It happens to all of us at one time or another—the most inappropriate fashion nightmare occurs at the most inopportune time, and suddenly we’re stuck in an awkward situation with no escape in sight.
“Nobody wants a little tight a**”
We’ve all heard of eco-this and eco-that, but what about eco-beauty? Think about it—our skin is the largest organ of the human body, yet we seem to abuse it the most with synthetic lotions, makeup products and creams. Wouldn’t it make sense to put only the most natural, chemical-free products on our skin to make it, well, natural and chemical-free?
The New York Times ran this article and I've heard a lot of friends talking about it. It examines the "20-somethings", an age group that is taking increasingly longer to grow up.
