Flimsy Lindsey: Easter Weekend 4/13/2012	I'm off to spend a beautiful weekend with Boyfriend's family. It should be a relaxing few days, especially since I got that 20-pager finished last night (can I get a what, what!) I'm feeling extra rejuvenated with that sucker behind me. Which the feeling is a bit appropriate due to Easter, no? Nothing like the rebirth of Jesus to put things in perspective. I hope you have a marvelous holiday full of sweets and little reflection to the reason for the season.
Flimsy Lindsey: Bare it all! 4/5/2012	Hi Her Campus UNI readers!! With Spring here and the weather cooperating, it’s time to rock some bare legs. But if you didn’t attend Panama City Beach like the rest of UNI for Spring Break, you may not have the best tan to be rocking tightness stems. Personally, my legs are so winter white they look translucent. So the minute I grabbed my skirts from storage (That is, moving them from the bottom of the drawer to the top. It’s some system I’ve got over here...), I ran out and got my trusty white-leg-saver: Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. This is actually a makeup formula that gives your legs the perfect amount of tan and glow. Never streaky, nothing orange and water resistant. It not only looks great on your legs, but is also useful for your chest and arms. This is my go-to product for those May weddings when I haven’t had a chance to get my sun-kissed tan but still want to wear that little dress. So put your best leg forward (see what I did there?), and try out this awesome product!
Flimsy Lindsey: March Birchbox (Free products!) 3/21/2012	Hey there HerCampus!! I hope you all had a stupendous and relaxing Spring Break. I spent some time in Florida with my family doing as little as humanly possible. There were a few days when my only accomplishment was turning oxygen into carbon dioxide. Anyone else with me? Flimsy Lindsey: Case of the blues 3/7/2012	<Jeans:LC, Blazer:Collective Concepts, Scarf:Target, Shoes:Anne Klein, Belt: J.Crew, Watch:MK, Bracelets:J.Crew, AE> This weekend was a bit of a roller coaster. I spent Friday night with a great group of girls reminiscing about our cheering days and wishing we all didn't live in different cities. Saturday was filled with window shopping and naps. Then Saturday night our basketball team lost in the sub-state game leaving the entire town broken-hearted. Boyfriend was pretty torn up; not because they lost, but because a great season with wonderful kids had come to an end. It kills him that he won't see those players every day. Sunday came with a rich case of the blues. We spent the day in true depression form; not showering, laying on the couch, ordering pizza and only using cynical commentary when discussing the Oscars. But things are looking up- it's a new day after all!
Flimsy Lindsey: If I Ruled The World 2/23/2012	<Jeans:GAP, Blouse:Thrifted, Cardi:J.Crew, Shoes:Kelsi Degger, Water:MK, Bracelet:gift> If I ruled the world... there'd be more hours in a day for friends, we'd have an H&M in town (come on already with the online shopping), our apartment would have an exposed brick wall, flowers would never die, airfare would not be so expensive, there would be unlimited free coffee, and puppies would be born potty trained (because then, maybe I could get one.)

A great feature of having Blogger as my host is that I can get statistics on how many views I get on the site. While there are many blogs out there who have thousands of views per day, I've been pleased to see that Flimsy Lindsey is getting close to 500 views. But I only have 78 official {totally awesome} Followers and it's got me wondering who the heck the rest of you are! Flimsy Lindsey: Leopard Loafers 12/13/2011	Even though I frequently discuss fashion and trends on here, I do not typically obsess over anything. I may see something I'm really loving and secretly wish I could have it, but that typically lasts a day and them I'm done... That was until I saw these calf hair leopard loafers around the blogosphere. I've been pining away for a pair for months. I get dressed in the mornings some days and think how my outfit would be 10x better if I had those shoes. I dreamt I owned a pair one night. Even my subconscious believed they would make a good addition to my closet. So I gifted myself a pair for Christmas that I got on MEGA SALE. I originally wanted the Sam Edelman pair, but they sell out so quickly and are never on clearance. So I found these Kelsi Dagger on Piperlime. And I may never take them off!
