Rock the Vote

11/12/2012

Regardless of who you were rooting for this election, there is one thing we should all be proud of: students rocked the vote. Once again, we were reminded of the strength young people can have in an election. Here's to hoping we will have just as strong a showing in 2016.

After our win against Missouri State, the Gators were still in the running for the SEC Championship game. Then all eyes turned to Georgia in hopes that Auburn would defeat them defeat them tonight. Win or lose, it's always great to be a Florida Gator.

We're always on the lookout to try new dining spots in town, and this week we went to Liquid Ginger to enjoy some of Gainesville's best Asian cuisine. Where do you suggest we try next?

Top 5 Collections from NYFW

9/25/2012

New York Fashion Week has finished, but how can us Florida girls sort through all the pictures
and videos to find the gems?

Don’t worry -- I’ve done it for you. Check out the best five collections below:

1. 3.1 Phillip Lim
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eGZFyrm2nA&feature=channel&list=UL
Phillip Lim's collection is fun, cool and chic. I adore the floral and flannel prints and the way he
played them up to look more sophisticated and modern. However, he still kept little hints, like
the shirt around the waist, to remind us of vintage flair. Although Lim didn't use as many trends
as others did, he still incorporated the V-neck and the halter into his designs, and he crafted a
collection I would be overjoyed to have in my closet and purses I would love to have on my arm.
