The annual Senior Art Show features asethetic visions of some of Brandeis University's brightest art students. This year, the show transcends traditional mediums of the canvas and sculpture and explores other ones as well. However, this week's Campus Celebrity, Genevieve Armstrong '12 has found her niche in a variety of mediums which she uses to depict the female nude figure.
Free Play Theater Cooperative's production of Next to Normal, Book and Music by Brian Yorkey and Music by Tom Kitt, as part of the Brandeis University Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts, caused quite a stir last night on opening night.
HBO’s new series Girls, created by Lena Dunham, which aired on April 15, 2012, has sparked conversation all over the Internet, everywhere ranging from the New York Times to Refinery 29, my favorite blog. It has even been compared to an updated version of Sex and the City – one where the characters have less money.
Blends of acoustic guitar and electronic sound color sophomore Ayan Sanyal’s new album “Love Lies”.  The album features four songs with a suspenseful electronic introduction that ends with the heavy breathing. This heavy breathing serves as a strong allusion to the next song on the album – “John Legend Complex”.
It’s finally warm outside and there is more sunlight in a day, so it’s a perfect time to start running again! Great weather is a perfect reason to get physical and give back to the community.
